In accordance with Wallace Community College transitioning to online instruction until April 6 due to COVID-19 concerns, the WCC Math Tutoring Services will offer online appointments beginning March 23, 2020. Please check the times available as listed in the schedule links as times vary.
When scheduling an appointment, a student will register as a user with the online fillable form. The student will select the correct campus, choose the math course from the pull down selection, and choose the tutor that is available at the desired time using the "Meet Online" option. Sessions will last no more than 1 hour each.
Before the session begins, the student will log in to the student email (O365) and then click on the app launcher (9 dots on top left). The student will choose TEAMS and click on the CALENDAR within TEAMS. The tutor will send the student a calendar invitation at the scheduled time and the student will choose "JOIN THE MEETING." There will be audio/visual options plus screen sharing. The student is advised to have the tab for ALEKS or MyMathLab pulled up before the session begins in order to share problems that are troublesome.
